Wymeswold's Outreach Post Office Service

The Post Office has amended the opening hours of the hosted Outreach Service operating in Wymeswold.

The hours on Wednesdays have now been changed to 10.00am until 2.00pm, following representations from Wymeswold Parish Council.

Originally, the Outreach Service was scheduled to operate just on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, and the Parish Council requested a variation of these hours to include a Wednesday opening.

The service did subsequently open on Wednesday afternoons, but the levels of business were disappointing, perhaps as historically the old Post Office in the village always closed at lunchtimes on Wednesdays.

The amended Outreach Service hours are now confirmed as:

• Mondays: 9.00am – 12.30pm
• Wednesdays: 10.00am – 2.00pm
• Fridays: 9.00am – 12.00pm
• Saturdays: 9.00am – 12.30pm

The service is operated from the Three Crowns public house on Far Street , and is accessible via the rear door. Parking is also available.

The Parish Council encourages parishioners to use this valuable service as much as possible to ensure the existing weekly hours are maintained or even extended.
