We will be starting our bread round to the village on Friday mornings at 8.45am at the Stockwell. The first one will be on Friday 27th April.

We will be offering 3 or 4 different loaves each week. There will always be a naturally leavened loaf (no commercial yeast) or two along with a speciality loaf. We try to use 100% organic wheat, with our naturally leavened bread which takes nearly two days to develop its flavours for baking. Where possible our recipes will include flours milled at Whissendine Windmill and our spelt is usually grown locally at Jo Bradley’s farm in Sutton Bonington too.
Fresh 100% French butter croissants and pain au chocolat will also be available and more than likely some very rich chocolate brownies. We will be operating on an order scheme to try to reduce any food waste. However we will bake a couple of loaves extra in case anyone forgets to order.
