Following Government advice communal places within parks such as sports courts, playgrounds and outdoor gyms have been closed to protect everyone’s health. Sadly this includes the outdoor gym equipment, all play equipment, cricket nets etc.

The Washdyke recreational area and sports field remain open to the public.

• Please remember to stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
• Unless you are with members of your household, gatherings of more than two people in parks and other public spaces have been banned
• Wash your hands as soon as you get home
