The Doorstep Bakery offers a delicious range of handmade breads and patisserie for delivery to your door (Wymeswold~Rempstone~Costock) most Saturday mornings between 8.30am and 11.00 am. We also supply The Crown at Old Dalby and the Windmill in Wymeswold.
We usually offer at least 3 different loaves each week. There will always be a naturally leavened loaf (no commercial yeast) and a couple of speciality loaves all using 100% organic flours (wheat/spelt/rye). Our naturally leaven breads normally take two days to develop ready for baking.
Where possible our recipes will include flours milled at Whissendine Windmill and spelt grown locally at Jo Bradley’s farm in Sutton Bonington.
Being part of our order scheme help to reduce food waste at the same time as getting some pretty tasty bread to enjoy over the weekend.
