Neighbourhood Watch
Our new neighbourhood watch was successfully launched on 4th July. Leicester Fire & Rescue visited the village to provide free fire safety and crime prevention advice as well as carrying out home visits. Our local beat team were also on hand answering queries. We have new signs around the village advising that we are a part of the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme. We would like to thank Garry and Angie Boorman for all of their hard work in getting the scheme off the ground. If you would like any further information regarding the scheme please get in touch using the following email address – garryandangie26@gmail.com.
During the month of July 2016 Wymeswold had one burglary whereby entry was gained via smashing a door window and opening the lock, and one theft of a trailer from farm land. For further crime information please visit www.police.uk or if you have any concerns please call our beat team on 101.
