We are delighted to announce that thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we are going to update and refresh the village website Wymeswold.com.
As part of the St Mary’s Church ‘Preserving Pugin’ restoration and village heritage project, we received funding to create a new heritage website for the history of the churches. We asked permission to use the fund to refresh the village website, which benefits the whole community. We will be adding two or three heritage sections to the new website, including the history of the church and the Methodist chapel. The company commissioned to prepare the new site is currently working on the design phase.
Anyone who has material on the current site should have received a message about transferring over their information. If you have not received a message, or if you have not yet replied, please email webmaster@wymeswold.com to indicate whether you wish to have your information transferred to the new site.
The current website will continue in use and be updated, until the new website is launched. We anticipate this will be around the end of September.
