On July 15th we will meet at the Foxton Canal Museum, Middle Lock, Foxton Locks, Market Harborough, LE16 7RA at 7.30 p.m.

The museum is in the recreated base of the engine house of the Foxton Inclined Plane. Besides general canal exhibits it shows what the inclined plane looked like. Outside it is possible to view the remains of the inclined plane, and Foxton Locks, two five-rise staircase locks taking the canal ninety feet up the hill, one of the wonders of the inland waterways.   The museum’s website is https://www.foxtoncanalmuseum.org/

There will be a charge of £7-50 each and there may be a small charge for parking.
