Centrebus has advised that regrettably they are having to reduce the Saturday service of the 8 to a 2-hourly service due to a driver shortage, a situation which is currently impacting bus operators on a national scale.
Current Covid-19 registration rules introduced by the Traffic Commissioner at the start of the pandemic, allows operators to make temporary changes to services with as little as 7 days notice. It should be noted however, that these changes are considered temporary and therefore it is anticipated they will either; revert as soon as the operator is able to do so, once the temporary rules are rescinded by the Traffic Commissioner, or be registered by the operator on a permanent basis, which would usually require 42 days notice.
The current timetable for Centrebus Service 8 is available here.
